CORPORATE OIL

What a glorious thing is the corporate oil, corporate anointing, corporate blessing, corporate impartation, corporate flow, corporate power, corporate unction, and corporate agreement! God has always intended for us as His church to walk in this measure. Let's read Numbers 11:24-34.

Verse 25 says, "And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease." What God put on Moses, He put on all of the seventy elders to prophesy! But here is something so interesting! The corporate anointing was so strong that there were two men called Eldad and Medad who were not in the camp with them and were not at the same place, but they still received the same anointing and instantly started prophesying. That is what I call Corporate Oil Anointing. The Spirit rested upon them! They were part of the group but were not with Moses, and yet they were under the same vision, nation, and purpose. They were in one agreement. They followed, and they were one (verse 26)!

When we don't understand about those who walk under this corporate oil, we get jealous of those who do, like Joshua, the son of Nun. "And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord'S people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!" (verses 28-29). This reminded me of the other passages when John saw someone casting out devils in His name and wanted to forbid them because they were not following them, and Jesus said, "…Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us" (Luke 9:49-50). Later on, when James and John wanted to call down fire from heaven to stop those who were casting out demons, Jesus said, "But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village" (verses 54-56). Moses had the same Jesus' attitude: "And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord'S people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!" (Numbers 11:29). Jesus said, if they are not against Him, they are for Him! Forbid them not!

There is a great move happening, but you need to be part of it! That is the corporate oil! Here are some things that stood out to me about Moses, his purpose, his role, and his vision.

Moses was a lawgiver; he was a deliverer; he was an intercessor to God for His people and for their provision; he was the middleman; he encountered God at the burning bush for the first time. Moses faced complaints and rebellion, love and hate from his own. Just like the stone the builders rejected became the chief cornerstone (Psalm 118:22), so did Moses. The one God chose to bring them to the Promised Land was also rejected time and time again. I see how easily man always rejects God's man or men and how easy man always leans on man's men. God always uses the foolish things to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27) and the haughty man. Even with such resistance, Moses performed miracles that demonstrated God's power and reinforced his leadership. He was a leader of faith, obedience, and perseverance. He was a shadow of the apostolic anointing and apostolic ministry! He was a shadow of the Son of man being lifted up.

"And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived." Numbers 21:9

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:14-15

Moses was also used as a healer. The same snake that was prophetically lifted up became a symbolic sign of our redeemer. Jesus took our sin away and became sin for us when He was lifted up on the cross. All that looked on Him, believed in Him, and received Him were also healed, saved, and delivered.

What do you think we can gain when we start complaining and rebelling? People came to Moses, admitting they had sinned against Moses and God. Moses should have been offended at the people, but Moses was already interceding for those who were offended at him. Power comes when the heart is clean. Do you want to be the one who intercedes even for the rebellious people, or do you want to be the one who gets mad at them? Do you want to be the one who intercedes for the rebellious or to be the rebellious one?

Moses was an administrator. Let's read Exodus 40:1-29. He put the house in order. How are we being transformed? By the washing of the water of the Word? YOU LET this mind BE IN YOU! You need to LET this mind be your mind! Some of us want just a little oil, but God wants us to overflow. Full means overflowing everywhere we go. He pours the oil all over the anointed ones! Now, he wants it to overflow out of us. Moses had that order anointing. The apostles make sure the order remains. When Jesus went to the temple, He came to bring order! His house shall be called a house of prayer! Meaning you being a house of order. He will build His church upon the apostles and prophets, not any apostles or prophets, but HIS! The apostles being the first! The forerunners! In every generation, the Church is maturing and being transformed into the image of Christ.

These offices will remain until the Church is operating in the full stature and measure of Christ as it is written in Ephesians 4. God will have a mature, glorious Church and Bride being one with Him!

The Word never stops. The Torah died and was resurrected in the new covenant! Because of One man's obedience, we become the house of His habitation. Now we are the tabernacle! Sometimes, man anoints and appoints men that God is not anointing and appointing. People love that, though. They go to bible school and get a piece of paper, but that brings them no oil. It is a godly form but denies His power! This is a fraudulent form of Christianity! This is fake! They are following a book, a man, or a doctrine that has not been given by the Holy Spirit. The more you know the real, the more you can spot the fake! The Spirit of Truth will guide you into all Truth (John 16:13), and He will lead you out of the broken places, out of religion to Truth, but he won't deliver people if they don't want Him! Many people want the Holy Spirit for their own gain or their own power. Look at Simon, the sorcerer (Acts 8:9-25).

The purpose of Moses was to deliver them and to take them to a specific place. The purpose of apostolic foundation is the same! No man can give you a garment. The garment that God is looking for on a Bride is a spiritual wedding gown that is only given by the bridegroom, Jesus! It does not matter what kind of degree and title you have! We need to be one with the oil to be protected by the oil! God showed Moses and the seventy elders the power of corporate anointing. My heart is that every single person will be burning for Him like these vessels "And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy." Verse 10

Why do we try to look different when we dress in the same religious garments that the pharisees wore? The only people who want to deceive people are the ones who will dress a certain way to let others know who they are. Jesus was the first one to point out the way people were dressing. The religious people had to hire people (Judas) to point out who Jesus was. The Apostolic Church has one goal: to reproduce sons and daughters! To help people to be fruitful, to multiply, and to form Christ in us. If you want to be great, become the servant of all (Matthew 20:26). If you want to be a king, wash some feet (John 13:14). If you want to have oil, lay down your life (John 15:13).

Remember Numbers 11:26: "But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp." I have seen people under the anointing moving together, but there is a unity that is manifested only by those who are one, who have become one with the Spirit and with the purpose.

This is what happens in an apostolic ministry! It is that precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard until it reaches the garments (Psalm 133:1-3).

Aaron was a type and a shadow of Christ, our high priest! It is not about an experience occasionally or after the third song played but to live there 24/7. When Jesus washed feet, He was trying to show the disciples about humility. The pharisees and Sadducees read a book, but they didn't have any fresh oil, but rancid oil, old oil. We have seen signs and wonders. We have seen how amazing corporate oil is during our mission trips, all in one vision and purpose. I have seen two houses, H.O.T USA and H.O.T Brazil, so united in the Spirit even though they are miles apart! There are many moments that the corporate anointing is so heavy that we can experience 2 Chronicles 5:13-14: "So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God."

One of the most known gatherings recorded in the Bible is the upper room gathering in Acts 2:1-4. But today, when you are one with a vision, you don't need to be in the same place! During Pentecost, the order was to stay in Jerusalem. They had to be in the same place because they were not one yet! Today, we are experiencing a different type of unity! Now, God has rent the heavens and poured out the Holy Spirit on the Church, and the oil never stops.

Now, we are connected in heaven, Matthew 18:18-20. God has put us together in heaven, and it has been manifested on Earth! It is not just about being saved; it is about being connected. It is not just about you or me, it is about salvation! About souls! When two or three are gathered together in His name, in His Word, in His power, and in His Spirit… I can't just live with Christ in me. I need the Body; all members fitly joined together! Because we don't look like Him yet!

When we are in heavenly places, we are all excited again! He has a vision, He has a purpose, and He has given it to the apostles and the prophets. You can't build it alone. He is building it! I can't go out and try to build a cool church! Oily stones! God is trimming these lively stones all at once! This agreement is what keeps the oil flowing! Now, we can experience: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20). God in our midst!

When we read 1 Corinthians 10:1-4, we see the mentioning of many being baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea, but it also talks about eating the SAME SPIRITUAL MEAT, about DRINKING from the SAME SPIRITUAL ROCK! John the Baptist brought an outward baptism. Jesus came to bring an inward baptism! Without this baptism of the Holy Spirit, we won't be able to make it.

I am all for water baptism, but the religious system puts emphasis on the outward works when Jesus is looking at what is happening from within! The fire, it consumes, it purifies, and it is the living altar of burning flames that consumes and burns away everything that is not of Him!

"And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ" (verses 3-4). We see, for example, H.O.T. House of Truth in two different nations, USA and BRAZIL, but with the same sweet fragrance. One night, we could experience the same fragrance, the same anointing, at the same time over 4,000 miles away. The Spirit of God is connected to His Bride. We are John 17 Glory! Just like the 12 different tribes, all with different functions and purposes, but the same Word, the same vision, the same God, and the same nation, even though they were in different regions and territories.

Are you drinking? Some people can come to the well and still don't drink. The woman at the well did. Do you know why you are thirsty? Is the problem the fountain, or is it you? She even forgot the water pot! We know where the fountain is, we know where the clean water is, but we still go back home heavy with our pot without drinking from it. How about having that encounter that, after it, we leave everything behind? She left her pot (John 4:28-30).

Let's read 1 Corinthians 6:11-20. We must be sanctified as members of the Body of Christ! We need to make sure that we stay connected with those who have connected with Him. As the Body, we need to stay and abide in Him so the oil can flow! "Just tell me anything, God…Tell me how bad I am, tell me how I mess up. Just tell me anything, God, just to know that you are talking to me. So, I know you care, that you love me…" People usually take correction like a bad thing, but no, let's have that humble attitude: "God, tell me anything." He has joined us unto Himself, and we are one Spirit with Him! Come as a little child. No matter how old you are, how much you think you know, or no matter what status man has given you!

And finally, let's read Zechariah 4:1-14! Seven churches, seven lamps, two olive trees. One church. One nation. One God. Corporate manifestation of a purpose. Stop thinking about yourself. It is all about Him. God is going to do the building of HIS CHURCH by His Spirit, by His Word, by His fivefold ministries, and by the corporate oil, anointing! No, Zerubbabel, don't keep looking at yourself; don't look at this one, that one; look at Christ and His resurrection! So many times, we do the same. How can we despise the small things, the small beginning?

Jesus said I am the vine; you are the branch. If you abide, the fruit will remain (John 15:5). The Glory of the second house shall be greater; the oil of the latter house shall be greater (Haggai 2:9). What else can excite you?

"Father, we need to receive again the heavenly vision. Every good and perfect gift comes from above. There is nothing else that can satisfy us." If you give all of yourself, you will see the Glory, the oil, and you will become THE ANOINTED ONES! Anyone in Christ is a new creation; old oil has passed away! Let fresh oil pour out upon His Body!

We have the oil to help the world to see! Multiplication of eyes being open to see Him as He is. The blind will always lead another blind! Put oil upon your own eyes so you can see. A church without oil is not a church. I don't know what it is, but the oil is everything! "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's" (1 Corinthians 6:20).

Let the oil flow so the world can know. There is an oily Church ready to set the captive free because only the anointing breaks the yoke! And that is what Corporate Oil does! Always remembering, for us to flow with this Corporate Oil, we must make sure we are never, for any reason, separated from His glorious oily Body.
