WE ARE AT WAR

“Holy Spirit, come and align everything by the Spirit of the living God. We must be led by You, Holy Spirit, every minute and second of the day, to hear our shepherd that guides us into all Truth. That is why we are at war! We must stand in the days ahead of us. Thank you for the revelation of the Truth, the hidden mysteries, and the Rhema and logos word of God. This revelation can only be done by the Spirit of God, by You, Holy Spirit! Only You can divide your Word rightly. Only You can give us ears to hear and eyes to see. Strengthen us today because we are at war!”

We are not at war with people! We do not fight against flesh and blood, but spirits and powers and principalities! Read Ephesians 6:10-18. We fight lies with the Truth. We fight darkness with His light. We are at war! Somebody is being equipped with spiritual swords for a battle. Gird your loins so spiritual fruits will be reproduced. We must not allow people to get us to attack and to fight them in the flesh, but we must bring our flesh under submission to God’s Word and to the Holy Spirit because we are crucified with Him. Let us mortify the deeds of our flesh. That is where we win the battle every day because He already has won the war. We do not want to live in a prison of our flesh while the war is going on. We want to be fighting and taking territory.

Our real battle is the battle with our own flesh! You cannot win this battle if you are being led by your flesh. The powers and principalities are after our flesh! If they get ahold of our flesh, the victory is theirs. We are overcomers by the blood of the lamb and by our living testimony. Jesus has the victory, so we have it, but we must live as such. Believing, living, and doing are works with faith that look like a believer is supposed to look.

We must fight the good fight of faith. Read Luke 22:31-32. Satan desires to have us and to sift us, but our faith must fail not. We must keep strengthening ourselves so we won’t give up. Fighting sometimes is just a matter of standing, standing on what He told us to do. We must work out our OWN SALVATION with fear and trembling! Think it not robbery to believe on what God told you that you are. Read Philippians 2:5-18. We must take it seriously what the Bible is saying! The enemy wants to steal our inheritance through our flesh. Many people let their flesh rule over it. Just like what happened to Esau, the enemy wants to make our belly our god and not the Word of God. He wants to make us be driven by the flesh.

God is raising you up to be a warrior, and the enemy will come after you because you are doing something. But when you do and go in His name, every spirit must bow down. You are an overcomer at war! When you endure until the end of the day, when you resist your flesh, you get the victory! We must be taking territory for the kingdom of God, but if your flesh is dominating you, there is no way! The devil can dismantle you and strip off your armor if there is room for your flesh in you. We are at war with our flesh! The flesh profits nothing. To labor in vain is to labor in the flesh.

Read 1 Timothy 6:11-15. Salvation is done by Christ, not by works that any man shall boast, but we must work it out with fear and trembling. Read James 2. When we are born again, you now are a new creation – a new life – a new way – born from above. If you say you are the righteousness of Christ, you must live it. Sometimes God wants us to prove Him! God proved His own son when He resurrected Him. If we prove who God is, God will prove who we are. It is His rules though. He tells how He wants things to be done, even though we try to be our own god even when we follow God. If you say you have faith, let me see the works. If you say He is the healer, let me see some healings. If you say you are born again, let me see some fruits. We must start working things out. If you are a son or a daughter, you must walk in the Spirit, and not in your flesh! Don’t give up, don’t give in, or your flesh will raise up. That is not the resurrection power that we want. We do not want to be raising the old man from its death. Many people skip over the scriptures that they do not like and that is how we get indoctrinated with mixture. People say that the Word of God is inspired by Him but they decide what they believe, or they find someone to tickle their itching ears.

If you keep running the race, you will win! Read 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. Keep running and you will get an incorruptible crown. Fight! Don’t beat the air! Hit the target! Bring your body, your flesh, under subjection to the Spirit of God! God does not want just a number as a member of the Body, He wants witnesses! Read Ephesians 4:15-32. We have so many preaching scriptures without a full foundation, without the full counsel of the Word of God! What is really in pain? Your flesh, your mind, your heart, your emotions. Bring all of it under subjection to the Spirit of God within you. You have this choice: your flesh or your spirit alive inside of you! Get yourself out of this mindset of victim! Cherry-picking scripture produces their own knowledge from their own interpretation and from their puffed-up mind! Stop blaming the devil and people. Die to the things that make you stumble.

Read 2 Corinthians 11:13-15. I don’t need to know what looks right to me, but what is right to Him. Your battle is against your flesh. If you are not fighting, you are just giving in. If you walk in the Spirit, the battle is won. Read 1 Corinthians 4:12-21. Lack of revelation brings confusion and division. The Spirit of Truth is here to guide but we don’t want to be guided by Him. Are you giving in to your flesh or fighting against it? Read 2 Corinthians 5:6-21. We cannot serve two masters, FLESH AND SPIRIT. Absent in the flesh, present in the Spirit. Don’t let your flesh rule you. When you start being led by your flesh, your conscience will be seared. Don’t live for your flesh. Live for your spiritual man. We must feed our spirits and starve our flesh according to God’s Word. We are crucified with Christ so we now have a new man that needs to be renewed, to be fed and strengthened! We have the power to resurrect the old man and his deeds. This is the sanctification, and this is a process as God is using His power to help us to become sons and daughters of righteousness. But without Him, we can do nothing. So, let’s submit to God and walk as He walked. We are overcomers.

Read Galatians 4. We are the heirs of God, of what He promised us. This is our war. We war against our flesh and that’s what the devil uses to stop us. We are called to be a soldier. Where does the war happen? In our mind, our spirit, our flesh, our soul. If you don’t know there is a war, you won’t fight. When we were children, we were in bondage with the elements of our

flesh but not anymore. Get the lies of the world out of your mind by the renewing of your mind, by the Word of God. Let the mind of the old man be not found in you. Let the mind of the flesh be not found in you. To be successful in heaven is to walk in the Spirit here on Earth. Whatever level of the flesh-walk you are walking in, war against it! Low level or high level, you must war against any flesh inside of you because your flesh is always warring against the Spirit. It is time for you to fight back! War against it! It is written, so if God’s Word says we can walk in the Spirit and live in the Spirit, let us be believers of His Word and do it because He says we can. So, we will not be in unbelief that causes us to sin. This is what the cross did. It gives us the power to overcome our flesh. The cross means nothing to them that are perishing, but to us who believe, it is the power of God, 1 Corinthians 1:18.

Read Galatians 5:12-26. Flesh and spirit are contrary to one another. Flesh lusts against the spirit. All the works and results of the flesh are death! You cannot receive the inheritance if you do not walk in the Spirit. Read Galatians 6. If you sow in the flesh, you will reap in the flesh. Don’t give in. Read Galatians 6:7-10. A spiritual man is the one who does not follow his flesh.

Purging! We need to purge ourselves from the deeds of the flesh. Read 2 Timothy 2:19-26. We are the ones who purge ourselves! Read Romans 8:1-15. We must be tired of following our flesh! We must hate it! If we want to please God, we must not walk in the flesh! Read Colossians 3. We must bring under subjection the body and its needs and its desires by self-denial or discipline. Mortify your flesh! Subdue, suppress, subjugate, control, and restrain your flesh! Put off your flesh! Put on your new man! We are at war! You are at war! We break every agreement with our flesh! Even if I sinned yesterday, that is no longer who I am. I am living in righteousness! I am mortifying my flesh by discipline and self-denial. I love the Truth. I love my inner man, and I hate my old man and his deeds! Let this mind be in you that is in Christ. Do you not know that it is written, “We have the mind of Christ”? Shane Roessiger
