The Tabernacle of God! By Joe Pinto
Some people will question everything you do yet they have no idea what you’re doing. Why?
Simply because they are not in the Spirit.
And when you’re not in the Spirit, you’re in the flesh. And when you’re in the flesh, you’re in carnality. And when you’re in carnality, you’re in religion. And then you think everything has to be done a certain way, you think everything has to be said a certain way. You think your way that you’re proclaiming is God’s way.
And now you have just made up your own world. You’ve just made up your own rules, your own God. You have just made up your own reality. You have made up your own prison, keeping yourself bound and taking others captive so that you would not have freedom in Christ.
You were saying “Jesus” without a problem, now you have to say “Yeshua” because now you’re bound up. You used to preach the Gospel and now you teach non-Jews about Jewish traditions.
You were saying Holy Ghost, but now you have to say Holy SPIRIT. You think your words make a difference. You think your actions make a difference. Though it doesn’t matter what you do or say. If your heart is far from Him, everything you say is in vain.
It doesn’t matter how much you praise and read. It doesn’t matter how much you preach, pray, and rebuke. It doesn’t matter how many Jewish festivals you can participate in, or how many Jewish calendar days you can live by.None of it matters because now you’re in prison and only you can get yourself out.
Colossians 2:8-10
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.”
And you are complete in HIM!!!In Him!!! Not in Jewish traditions, not in the way you say things, or how you say things. Not in how you do this or how you should not do that. You are complete in Him! So when we follow Him, we are complete in Him.When we obey Him, we are complete in Him. When we worship Him in Truth and Spirit, we are complete in Him. And He secures us and releases grace in our life.
Many people can’t rest in their completion in Him because they don’t want to obey. And then when we don’t want to obey Him, God turns us over to religion. Many people are religious because they really want to be religious. When you want to create your own kingdom of God instead of aligning with the real one, you want religion because you want to live a lie. The Kingdom of God wants to dig deep into your heart, but you don’t want that. So you pretend God is taking you deep by trying to change everything you’re doing in the flesh. And you think you will earn more power and favor from Him than before. And now you’re a Jewish Christian when all you had to do was go back to the beginning and obey. And some Christians are even putting on Jewish clothing and trying to speak Hebrew or move to Israel like it’s going to make a difference. It will make a difference, in the sense that you will be in an even deeper prison than before!
The verse also says, for in Him, meaning in Christ, dwells the fullness of God. Now we have been given the lamb. We’ve been given the Spirit of God. We have been given the fullness of God, yet we still want to do everything a certain way. We want to focus on our mouth and our hands, not knowing that we are missing freedom in the Spirit.
Freedom to know Him, freedom to have Him, freedom to obey Him, freedom to follow Him and do what He says. Freedom to possess the kingdom of God. Freedom to have the fullness of God through Jesus and through Him ONLY.
So if we have all this freedom, why is Paul, the Jew of all Jews, telling you that? The one who did all those things, who did all the Pharisee and religious activities, he’s now telling you to be free. He’s now telling you that you have been set free from those things because the fullness of God is in Christ. Yet you go back to living like you’re in the Old Testament?
You no longer have to try to work your way up the ladder. You don’t have to try to conjure up His power anymore. You don’t have to strive for His Kingdom anymore, because the Kingdom is here!! If He says the Kingdom is here, then why are you not near? You need to repent from worship of your own version of the Kingdom of God!
And now pay the price for this Kingdom, the real one, which is the fullness of God. Let your payment be every part of your heart. Let it be your whole life given to Him, and if you do that, all that He has is now yours. He has come down from the ladder, and He has given you full access.
“I want to give you all the secrets and mysteries. It may not be when you want it, but I will give you your inheritance as you grow responsible and mature. And your inheritance is the fullness of God. Just grow in Me, get to know Me, hear my voice, and I will hear yours,” says the Lord!
You don’t have to live in that prison anymore. You don’t have to bind anybody up anymore. I have a new way! And that way is called Emmanuel!
“Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: "BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which translated means, "GOD WITH US."
“And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them.”
The tabernacle of God shall be among men. The Kingdom of God is within you. And now God has made us the tabernacle of God. The tabernacle is you! It’s no longer an object or a place, it’s you! The holiest of the holy place, the tabernacle of God, is now you!
You are now the dwelling place of God. You are now the house that God lives in. It’s not up there! Religion is always looking up to the skies, but God says look down at your belly. “There I am.” There is the fullness of God. Religion always wants to separate you and God, but here’s the good news. You and Him are one! Just as Christ and the Father are one!
You don’t have to do anything to earn more, just go flow with Me and you will see the promise land flow from your belly.
Exodus 25:1-9
“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense. Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.”
Now you are the offering, your life sold out to Him is the sacrifice. You are the pattern of the tabernacle. Your sacrifice of obedience is now the preparation of the tabernacle, which is you! In the days of old, the tabernacle was a material dwelling place made from the earth. Though now His dwelling place is the spirit of man. His dwelling place is you! And when you realize this, you will start to live in the Spirit. And when you live in the Spirit, you will know what He is doing.
No more traditions, no more hyper-spirituality, no more religious ideas. God is here. The fullness has arrived. And it dwells in you. You, the tabernacle of God!
