There are so many doctrines infiltrating the church: "Only believe," but even Satan and his demons believe and tremble. The repentance that they preach is only about changing the way you think. It's not my thinking that needs to be saved. It's my fallen state. My repentance must be from sin that obtains forgiveness by the blood of Jesus. It's an action, not a mind change only.
After being born again by the blood of Jesus, that's only when my mind can truly be changed. So when I cry out to God to be saved, it's because of the fear of the Lord. I become born again! With that, restoration begins the renewing of my mind, and then things start to change. Then I work out my salvation by relationship, pressing toward holiness, meaning being set apart to God and his attributes and Glory. Obedience confirms my transformation, not where I go or who I listen to, but the fact is, the struggle inside becomes surrender, and everything on the outside starts to bear fruit of divinity and Truth. That confirms who and what I follow. The fruit that is produced is what seed is active. Then what follows is the Truth of the Gospel that is inside.
What I say, what I do, and where I go are all proof of who and what I believe, true repentance to truth and true salvation. This false grace message will deceive many, but I pray that this will not be so with you. These doctrines of man and the devil will never bring you true conversion, only a knowledge of a half truth that will turn into a full blown lie. There are many ideas. There are many ways, but only one that leads to fruit and life. Only one has the power to expel darkness. There is only one that God is anointing and blessing, just make sure you’re in that Truth because there is no lie in the Truth. Shane Roessiger
